ECOSANACLUB concept and its' implementation
2018 May 15-17 Moscow,Russia. I International Forum "Sustainable Development and Cities of the Future: Economy, Wellbeing, Ecology"
Unique for Russia event devoted to development of healthy and sustainable cities in Russia. The Forum Aim – to bring together the government, over 100 leading companies, scientists and speakers to promote smart and healthy cities idea and bring it to reality.​
Valery Vakulenko presented the formula of creation environmentally friendly, healthy real estate and settlements - ECOSANACLUB. He follows the concept in his professional career more than 25 years. The formula is applicable in projects of different scale: in local eco-tuning of apartments or private houses; a regional project of advocating sustainable development of the Pushkinsky district of St. Petersburg Tsarskoe Selo; a global project of portal for sustainable development. ECOSANACLUB is a guidance for Valeriy Vakulenko and his team during creation and exploitation of eco-hotel and development of eco-village.

Valery Vakulenko highlighted the coherence between the state of urban environment and health of residents. Case study of Puskinsky district (Saint Petersburg, Russia) development was presented as a model for other Russian cities to support healthy society.

Tree as the Best Birthday present
2018 Yug-Times
Krasnodar, 19 April – Yug Times. The Sports Alley was reportedly laid Thursday at the Krasnodar State Institute of Culture.
The event was initiated by Valeri Vakulenko, board member of the Russian Green Building Council (RuGBC), president of the Ecoestate Innovation Centre, owner and author of the concept of the unique eco-hotel Bamboo Khutor in Sochi.
“In honour of my 60th birthday, I am presenting the Krasnodar State Institute of Culture with five silver lindens as a token of friendship and cooperation,” said Mr. Vakulenko. “In Slav culture, linden was named in honour of Lada, goddess of beauty. She brings prosperity and love to people.”
Vakulenko worded his idea at a meeting with Krasnodar students: “Let’s present each other with trees rather than some senseless birthday gifts.” At the end of the event, the future Sports Alley was crowned with a nameplate bearing the following inscription: “A tree is the best present to your native land, your fellow countrymen, your relatives and yourself. Valeri Vakulenko, on the occasion of his jubilee.”
Kuban region sets course for strict adherence to environmental standards

Principles of strict compliance with ecological standards are being actively introduced in the Kuban region. 
Valeri Vakulenko, international expert in investments and development, chairman of the Council on Sustainable Development of the Pushkinsky district, St. Petersburg (Tsarskoe Selo), speaks of ‘sustainable development.’ “Today many governmental officials, businesspeople and plain citizens are speaking of the notion of ‘sustainable development,’ but few can understand the true essence of this term. In fact, it consists of the following three constituents: economic, environmental and social.

City is the native habitat for modern man. Cities significantly affects natural environment: consume natural resources, substitute natural ecosystems. However, cities might become a perfect platform for raising environmental conscience among wide range of society, if wisely used.
 Sustainable urban development is a real factor of economic growth and social harmony.  Valery Vakulenko supported these statements and presented his experience in this area. He shared the algorithm of preservation and sustainable development of the city. This practical model is based on his experience in preservation of cultural and nature heritage during development of the Pushkin district of St. Petersburg - Tsarskoye Selo.
Some tools to save natural environment and Olympic heritage of Sochi to contribute to sustainable development
Valery motivates Sochi to adapt Eco-development practices during development phase. He introduces Ecograd-Soch (EcoCity) concept with 9 main eco-principles for city development. Suggests instruments to promote sustainable development practices among developers such as web-portal with best eco-design practices, eco-contests and grants. Valery believes that Sochi is worthy to host Delphic Games of the modern era.
Eco-development as a mean of competitive growth at a real estate market
The speech introduces new trend eco-development or green construction to Russian developers. Valery explains environmental problems of cities by the common principles of development. He present the basic principles of eco-development, as a solution.
